Welcome to the 5th edition of the #BIG5 Uphills Challenge, a thrilling trail running event set against the breathtaking backdrop of Skuleberget Mountain. This challenge invites participants to conquer all five legendary uphill trails—Lynx, Elk, Bear, Eagle, and Fox—in one memorable day.

Spring edition highlights:

  • Open to everyone, the Spring edition of the Challenge is a trail run that emphasizes fun and camaraderie.

  • Experience the thrill of a 25-kilometer course with a challenging 1500-meter elevation gain.

  • No time limits, no registration fees, and no formal registration required—just pure adventure and enjoyment.

  • The challenge consists of running across all five uphill segments in a single session, beginning and ending on the same day.

  • The challenge is valid when completed by at least two athletes, fostering teamwork and shared experiences.

AFTER-CHALLENGE Gathering:

#BIG5 “THIRD TIME”

As you finish running, join us at the #BIG5 after-challenge event, where participants and guests come together to share and celebrate the experience. This event takes place at the marina clubhouse in Docksta and includes snacks, drinks, and a friendly fika. Facilities for parking, changing, and showering are available. The marina is just a few minutes by car from Naturum. (R.S.V.P. appreciated :)

Skuleberget #BIG5 Challenge Wall of Fame

At the #BIG5 Challenge, runners approach the mountain with the shared goal of having fun together on its trails. There is no right or wrong timing, nor is there a correct or incorrect pace. You are the one who determines the intensity to face the challenge.

The challenge has a course length of approximately 25 kilometers and a positive elevation gain of about 1500 meters. To validate the challenge, it must be completed by at least two athletes.

 

 This is the right sequence of paths we follow during the challenge:

  • #BIG5pathELK uphill -> FOX downhill

  • #BIG5pathBEAR uphill -> LYNX downhill

  • #BIG5pathEAGLE uphill -> ELK downhill

Join High Coast Runners for an epic trail adventure at Skuleberget
